Wetland Surveys

The purpose of a wetland survey is to show the location of wetland habitats on the subject parcel. The limits of the wetland may be obtained from maps prepared by government agencies such as the Army Corps of Engineers, or they may be marked in the field by a biologist or other environmental professional. The presence of wetlands will affect the development potential of a piece of land. Wetland surveys are often combined with topographic surveys as part of the design survey delivered to an engineer.
